The other days i was really curious about what it would be my last meal before i die, so i decide to discover what people ask for their last meal before being executed, and i found this disturbing article. Those criminal do like their Dr.peppers.

On the last friday of April, my friend Apo and I went to the Boom Boom Room on Fillmore, it is a great place for live music and let me tell you if there is something i appreciate it is live music.
When we walked in the bar the bouncer asks us “Are you guys hear for the music or just for drinks?, we answered excited, “music, of course”, we paid the cover, order some gin and tonics and after 20 minutes, the first band started playing, “The Shakers” was the name and it was incredible that it was a perfect “Copy paste” of No Doubt, and listening and seeing this band completed my thought i had for while, that when band do cover or let other bands have so much influence on their music and personas they never get to “take over” music and let their spirit really flow. It’s super interesting to me how hard is to let music happened, because people take the safer route, imitating and measuring their music through the achievement of perfect execution of other people music.
Influence of other bands in new bands is so strong that it takes over them and put them in nutshell almost impossible to break, because even their behavior on stage becomes comfortable if it in between like the other one will do.
I strongly believe “covers” are in everything, we do “covers” of paintings, ideas, advertising, because their inspirational and safer, because is better to be “Just like something else” than “what the fuck is this”
All of those who took over, never did covers, they just let themselves go.
